I’m Mrs Turner-Rowe, and I have the privilege of being the Headteacher of both Chellaston Infant and Chellaston Junior Schools. It’s a real joy to lead two schools that share not only a close working relationship but also a deep commitment to nurturing children through a seamless and inspiring primary journey.

At Chellaston, we hold three simple but powerful rules at the heart of our school life: Be Kind, Be Ready, Be Safe. These values guide everything we do — from how we treat one another to how we learn and grow together. Our dedicated staff team works in strong partnership across both school sites, creating a welcoming, exciting and secure environment where every child is supported to shine.

We believe education should develop the whole child — their character, creativity and curiosity, as well as their academic strengths. Our curriculum encourages children to take risks in their learning, show integrity in their actions, and demonstrate determination and effort in everything they do. We celebrate each child’s progress and success, always striving to help them become confident, caring and capable young people.
